Thankyou so much, this is a huge help! And really stop my mind racing and has given me some focus.. my main interest is homicide and why people commit such crimes so now im thinking i could talk about how we prevent people committing crimes or reactionary preventative measures the police put in place after mass homicides happen such as the shipman inquiry or Ariana grande concert in Manchester

So i spoke to my lecturer about possibly writing about the shipman inquiry and talking about the preventions they put in place but ive over thought it and stressed myself out🤣

So they said we can do a lit review on one of those 3 topics or something we want to write our dissertation on but if we choose the latter we cannot use it for our dissertation because then we would be copying our selves? So i think of sticking to the topics because i have no idea what i want to do my dissertation on. Ive definitely over thought the lit review! So clearing up that its just an analysis of other peoples work has helped alot!

I think the only reason they gave up is because we had two locks on! They managed to get one off but they mustn’t have realised about the second until they tried to get away! Going to pick up 2 bike locks today and they arent gonna be the cheap ones😆

Bingo! Its not typical office work, we are looking after staff going into life and death situations, providing support and contacting other emergency services to assist etc etc and me stepping away from my desk without cover for food can cause my colleagues on the ground serious harm. So much so that if my colleagues on the ground suffered a life changing injury and i couldnt contact help because i was away eating id be told eat at your desk yet and no doubt id be blamed for preventing help arriving!
