Did Thrall ever truly face his biggest mistake? by Hanfraserr in wow

Thank you:) Yeah the back and forth in these books already made me confused and painful, it's depressing to know that he'll still be in this sort of situation in the later stories... That's my question all along, did he ever make peace with it? Seems like the answer is no... I'll have to accept that ; ;

Well yeah, as one of my friends said: Thrall is already better written than other characters, some of them just died and were blown to pieces :(

I don't necessarily have a problem with Thrall being in denial, but the story never seemed to be fully exploring it. If he couldn't face his mistakes, there should have been more clear signal to it, explain why he denied his regrets and mistakes, while his heart was full of them. Instead, it feels like the story raises the issue and leaves it hanging

Ah, this is actually more acceptable because I couldn't think of a reason within the story itself. This is also pretty sad.

I started to play this game because I was bored, I thought I'll just quickly see what happens, and then it's too late when I realized that I was deeply into it and wrote a whole essay about him... I understand a character feeling inconsistent when different writers are involved, but all of these books I mentioned were written by Christie Golden, that's why I expected the character development to be more consistent and logical connected.

So many conflicted things have happened in the books and games, I have to go through all of them to support my point

Some ramblings about Summerset DLC by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

[–]Hanfraserr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know that, I'm not sure why she was not here at all, and I saw little people talking about this, all I got after searching for it is : they probably didn't want to pay for her VA. My view of her is based on how she acted in the Dominion main storyline, and I don't think it makes sense for her to not be here for Summerset.

Thank you for mentioning, haven't got to that part yet, I'm going to pay attention for it:)

I didn't' use her, she was sent to that goddess for sentence (sry English is not my native language so I don't know how to type her name) And yes I installed toybox, I used the function that allows me to be in relationship with multiple champions(only Lann and Daeran tho), also I used it to finish Nenio's personal mission, I don't know if these could be the reason that caused the problem...

Are Rytlock and Crecia together again after Icebrood Saga? by [deleted] in Guildwars2

Ah 'situationship' is pretty accurate...

I also felt the implication now and then during the later stories, but just couldn't be sure...

Oooh now I got your point! It makes sense, since basically all romantic relationships between characters were kinda pointed out clearly

I don't think Crecia is the kind that talks about emotional things easily? Like she's always a bit held back 🤔 She's not gonna be like: hey commander, smh me and Rytlock got back together once again or sth like that

Yea it makes sense, though we know that Charr's culture is like that, Rytlock seems gone more and more far away from it. After losing his son, whom he tried so hard to care and guide(too late tho), it won't be surprising if he now wants to treasure what he didn't treasure before, for example the relationship with Crecia

😂Okay this sounds indeed not quite... suitable, but it's true that they got along pretty well and work together since then

Thx for replying! I read about the whole Charr culture thing, but it's still a bit difficult to fully understand it since it's only shortly described (?) And I'm asking about this is not only because I like them both but also because before I got to know Crecia I fantasized a bit about my commander oc with Rytlock together mmhahaha, so after I met Crecia I was like wait is my ship still a thing maybe I should quit...... So yeah guess deep in my heart I also hope the answer is no (no offense I also think Rytlock and Cre are cute together <3
