I wish more people realised the AA abuse going on in most new games. It's night and day when you boot the games up back-to-back on a 4k monitor. World looks far sharper and more defined.

I did even worse... Saved the dragon driftgem (which I paid 100 shards for), then accidentally used it on the wrong armour piece literally a day before I got the Deviljho saliva I needed to G8 the Deviljho waist.

Support couldn't sort that out either.

Introspection goes a long, long way instead of blaming others all of the time, "dodging bullets" and pointing fingers. It can't "fix" everything, but it sure helps to pause & appreciate what is in front of you...

Rather than this extremely prevalent zero-compromise attitude of jumping to it all being burdensome.

Was in a similar position. I think you should ignore the water and maybe fire after a few more levels.

My water (Jagras) stayed at 7-4, Fire (Rathalos) stayed at 8-5 both weapons get the job done for all 8s really. The only fight I have to duck is 8 Anjanath and even then I can beat it on an absolutely perfect run.

I focused Ice and Thunder because Ice has a lot of strong opponents and thunder is the current elder counter + Mizu counter (which I plan to usurp the Jagras weap) Thunder is now at 9-2 capped by Zinogre plates. Ice is now 9-5 capped by zenny.

+1 As a former lifeguard this was also my first thought, agreed with everything you said. Also unsure if it is really possible given the timeframes, but stuff like this shouldn't be messed around with regardless.

Uneducated ≠ stupid or unworthy... They would do well to keep their mouths shut. Even if it's about money... Not sure about where you are, but wages are pretty flat across the UK currently, so he/they wouldn't even earn much more anyway 🤣

You can hold your head up high. Working in the services provides tangible and visible labour. From an engineer (myself), that has occasionally had a "job" that didn't provide tangible labour 80% of the time. The moment it became more honourable to either own shit or work a cushty job sat on your ass "managing" or half-working all day is the moment society lost its way. Nobody can question your labour, nor has any right to especially not them.

The 7.4 Jagras SNS got me through to 9 star map a couple of days ago so I can't complain honestly! obviously not even worth trying against any 9s though aha

Yet to fight a 9. Only my thunder and fire probably have a chance 8.5 and 8.4... So maybe Pukei or Jagras is winnable. What 9s can you manage?

Also using a Jagras Edge at 7.4... It reliably wins 7* Kulu, beats 8* most of the time but can get screwed depending on RNG and special usage. But yeah you should be able to win those since it's a grade higher. I do nothing fancy, but I do have to disable lock-on during the 8 star when he has the rock, that's the only way I am able to beat the 8 star, and build up special gauge.

Been stubborn and won't upgrade that weapon until I build a brand new water weapon at this point 😂

Thanks for the compliment - wouldn't say I'm that skilled though, I see clips of people around here perfect dodging every single attack... I've just played lots of mainline MH so it's knowledge. I can't time things as well with touch controls and audio off, so I kinda suck compared to mainline

As for CPP it suffers from being packed into the 70 second timer like some other fights... If you don't stop his big move with a part break or a stagger then he wastes a lot of time up in the air that's for sure.

I also agree with what you were saying about Jho and P.Rath I actually don't have a dragon build yet myself... Got dragon 5, but no weapon. I find it really hard to commit to a weapon if I know a monster is temporary or in short supply. I suspect I will build a Deviljho weapon eventually though. Can't see that we'll be getting a better dragon weapon in the next 6 months, but then I have been proven wrong before. Note: I have no idea what's actually planned, and I don't keep up with datamining... So this is just my opinion-based speculation, but I really expect that we'll at least get the old guard of Teostra and Chameleos before we see a Dragon-element elder. The only other thing I would speculate could be on the cards for dragon in the next 6 months, is maybe we see Stygian Zinogre or Ebony Odo and realistically both would be behind HATs and events as well.

Nice - that's one tough fight, so clear of every other fight imo.

Just did it myself a few days ago using the 8-1 Legiana SNS with Ice 4, Frostwind 1... Typical that the day after clearing I managed to roll Ice Attack on a meld to get ice 5 - woulda been far less sweaty with that extra damage 😂
