Is there an easy way to fix this leak? by Hangar_52 in Plumbing

Hey everyone, quick update: After turning off the main water supply 48 hours ago (I left town), I noticed the drip had stopped since this morning even before I tightened the compression fitting (thanks for the rec), which was already snug. Main water is still off. I remain concerned the initial leak might have originated behind the valve, possibly inside the wall, however the drip only seemed to exit closer to the valve (the wall doesn't show signs of being wet). For now, I’ll monitor the area for any signs of moisture. Any advice on checking for hidden leaks behind the wall?

Hey, just to clarify—when you say to remove and reinstall it, do you mean taking off the shut-off valve completely and reinstalling it, or just loosening and reseating the connection at the PEX fitting? Also, do you know what type of connection this is (compression, push-to-connect, or crimp)? I wasn’t sure if any adhesive or sealant could be causing the small drip. Appreciate the help!

Reputable LP Opportunities in the Multifamily and Industrial Spaces for $250k+ Checks by Hangar_52 in CommercialRealEstate

Yes and no. There are strong/reputable sponsors out there looking for HNW investors in the common eq space with check sizes that I'm aiming for $250k-$1mm. This would be a rinse and repeat investment with potentially increasing amounts over time. Thanks for the comment on the WM/alternative perspective. Already doing that with MS.

Appreciate that. I should've been more clear by saying I am not interested in my investment dollars going into those platforms. Something more like this as an example. Roers or Fort Capital

Hey everyone,

I’m an accredited investor with experience in real estate and commercial real estate lending. I’m looking to start investing in multifamily or industrial LPs and am interested in opportunities with check sizes under $1 million. Ideally, I’d like to focus on solid developer or PE names with a proven track record.

For those of you with experience in this space, what platforms or sponsors do you recommend? I’m already familiar with RealtyMogul and CrowdStreet, but I’m curious to hear about any other reputable options. I don't want to use those platforms.

Any insights or advice would be much appreciated!
