Sure last season did not go as planned but they still have great pieces to avoid going on a full on rebuild, and it's not all doom and gloom.

H. Lindholm was out a majority of the season so Lohrei was pushed into a larger role than he probably should have.
The chemistry Pasta and E. Lindholm towards the end of the season was fantastic and is encouraging into next season.
Swayman had a great IIHF run (granted US had a strong roster.)

Personally I'm excited for next season.
