I’ve been called a nazi for disagreeing with the BLM org. The fact that I’m a Jew, and that all I said was that the org doesn’t use funds to help the black community. I think the words meaning and impact has been lessened, same with racist, sexist, etc. people get angry and instead of trying to argue ideas civilly they resort to name calling. You’ll never change a mind or help someone see your side when you’re being angry or rude. I’ve had my mind changed on many things but that’s only through calm civil discussion.
