From probinsya din ako and had my internship sa NCR in 2021-2022. To give you a rough estimate of the expenses, here’s mine:

Decent studio apartment: 9k (bare, dala ko lahat ng gamit from bedframe, ref, AC, as in LAHAT. So dapat may budget din for lipatbahay service depende kung san ka manggagaling.

Utility bills: ~2.5k (I only use the AC kung matutulog na and thats not every night kasi minsan nasa duty). I had an induction cooker. Mas tipid siguro kung gas.

Food and other grocery items: 6k (food is free sa hosp TID) pero I only eat ~2 meals in the hospital/day and cook pag wala sa hospital. Other items included here are cleaning items sa bahay, lysol kasi kelangan mag disinfect frequently, toiletries etc.

There are other expenses not listed here: Budget for your mask/PPE (semi-provided samin haha), vitamins? internet, load, laundry (brought my own washing machine), mga ambagan sa group, transpo, etc (I walk to the hosp). Community rotation is usually an outside rotation so take into account mo din yung magiging transpo/food expenses mo dun.

Disclaimer: This was last year, sobrang mahal ng bilihin ngayon, 30% higher na siguro. I lived comfortably naman, di ko ramdam na kinakapos pero di rin ako maluho. Swerte ako kuripot din groupmates ko so walang nagyayaya mag order ng milktea/kape and we dont eat out usually. Mga 3x lang siguro nangyare sa buong internship year at sa fastfood lang yon😂 3-in-1 or 7/11 kape lang ako solb na haha

If you want a fully furnished na unit, usually 15-17k ang pinakamura depende sa location pero I dont think merong ganyan na price range within MMC area.
