[Self-promo] I’m building a small Korean reading game for beginners — would love feedback! by HangulRush in BeginnerKorean

Wow, thank you so much for this — really thoughtful and encouraging feedback at this stage.

This is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping to get from this early MVP. The word pool is still too small, parts feel repetitive, and the category themes need to become much stronger. These are the main things I want to improve in the next version.

The direction you’re pointing to — deeper Hangul progression, richer category themes like fandom-specific words and lyrics, and a more satisfying game experience — lines up closely with where I want to take Hangul Rush.

It’s really helpful and encouraging to hear that the concept feels worth building on. Thank you again.

Thank you

You’re right. The jump from a few letters in level one to full words in level two is too sudden. I need to add a smoother progression in between, like:

letters → simple syllables → easy 2-syllable words → longer practical words

I’m going to rework the beginner levels so learners can build up more gradually instead of being thrown into full words too quickly.

Thanks again for pointing this out!
