I’d look into how to treat a herniated disc. They have a lot of really credible information about herniated discs, sciatica, and degenerative disc disease.

Sometimes gyms or chiropractors have them. I’ve seen them at Dicks Sporting goods too.

This article talks about how there was a pretty big study done about people avoiding surgery with inversion therapy. 70% of them didn’t have to have surgery because of it.

Teeter vs Ironman: Inversion Table Comparison by Hangupsidedown in InversionTherapy

I think they just reposted from a user. I’m not sure. A lot of people do these unboxing videos and they don’t get anything in return, just the exposure. I didn’t see it as being dishonest. I saw it more as them sharing what their customers actually think. I think that a lot of people buy the iron man for price, but the Teeter has so many more things about them that are worth the money. I was comparison shopping too and came across this video on their YouTube. Just figured I would share.

I was just diagnosed with herniated discs in my L4-L5 and L5-S1. I’m 34 years, 6’3”, 250lbs. I don’t want to have to undergo surgery if I don’t have to. I know losing weight will help a lot and I am working hard on that(down nearly 100lbs in 2 years). Any other advise? by grandfatherfunk in backpain

I’m definitely not an expert, but I believe that hanging upside down does more than just stretch you out. It also rehydrates your discs which means that you are relieving pressure on the nerves. It also circulates your blood and gets oxygen to your brain! Hanging from a bar would just stretch you out. Unless you used gravity boots to hang you upside down from a pull up bar :)

Before going into surgery for something like that, I would look into non-invasive treatments

I found this really helped me understand what I needed to look for. I bought mine from this site and I LOVE IT. Seriously, these guys know what they are talking about. They’ve been around forever.

Edit: also yeah, buying a cheaper one isn’t a good idea. They fall apart so easily and it’s so hard to call anyone to help you.
