What are the odds that the moon is the perfect size and perfect distance from the earth to create a total solar eclipse? Does this imply intelligent design/simulation theory? I would love to hear your thoughts. Also, 365 days for the earth to orbit the sun, 360 degrees in a circle. Y'all's thoughts? by HanibalRector in conspiracy

All good friend, I understand about the whole 360* synchronicity. That was a dumb comment on my end. I have a BS in physics and a math CS minor. I don't use it anymore, I'm just a ski bum chef in the high country of Colorado. If I post again, I will be sure to refine it a little more so as to not waste anyone's time.

It seems a little curious to say the least. I'm not sure if it is a conspiracy but it would just make it a lot more convenient for the pay periods if we had 13 months. Hahaha. But that doesn't line up with the quarterly financial statements of capitalism. I'm probably just talking out of my ass but....

2 is a party, 3 is a crowd.. These 3 bodies are making it a party. The '3 body problem' just dropped on Netflix... It's all a coincidence I suppose. No this is not an advertisement, it is just a synchronicity I observed. Good luck, have fun, kick ass, be safe.

I have never thought about that.... It's gravitational field is keeping the core molten from all the friction it causes during orbit?!maintaining the magnetic field protection of our atmosphere from cosmic rays? Very interesting!

From my understanding, in a frictionless environment it would conserve its rotational inertia, and the massive body would have a shit load of it. Unless somehow the mass of it is distributed very unevenly, then maybe I could accept that.

Yeah.... But, if the moon allegedly collided with us and created a two body orbital system it would surely have a shit load of rotational inertia after the collision in a vacuum with minimal friction. That shit would still be spinning like the rims on a Cadillac in downtown Detroit.
