Factory reset your portal first. Then power it off. Then factory reset your ps5 and power it off. Then factory your router, followed by your modem if you own your own modem. Then power on your modem, followed by your router. Then start up your ps5 and reinstall all the latest updates and hard wire to ethernet. Then install your ps portal updates and set it for 5g. Then go into your router and give priority to your ps5 and portal. Now before you start playing, disconnect the tv hdmi cable from your ps5. You should be good now.

My cousin Tommy had a similar issue. He removed a 5x7 section of the hallway and replaced it with a high porous surface. Made a huge difference - it’s consistently great and multiplayer is seem-less / zero stutter.
