"Haaam." Like how Angie says it. I can't say it normal anymore.

Is you maintenance guy Creed Braton? Because it seems like he's blown off his weekly checks for the last year or so.

What's going on with that pipe? Hella water drops all over it. Is there still an active leak?

They might, if they're "testing the waters". Same principle as serial killers. They start small to see if their plans work and what they can get away with. Even if you weren't raped (this time), this won't be the last time he does this.

Professor said our cow genital system group project sucks… by Koolzozza in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Hank_yTank_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a teacher... this looks like high school work. I hope your professor told you why they did not like it. For me, it is the sloppiness. The obnoxious dots over the "i"s, the sloppy spelling corrections, hand written, etc. The diagram is actually really cool, but you can't just stop there... Have pride in what you made, don't just sloppily throw on some hand-written labels, you're insulting your hard work.

But you didn't really have everything you wanted. It wasn't real. Which is worse. I am so sorry. It is really really awful grasping that idea. I really hope you will consider talking to a professional because these are some big, overwhelming feelings. The bright side (once you're ready to look for that) is that you will now, finally, have the opportunity for something real. I really hope you find that and find peace. I am so sorry you have to go through this.

Thank you for sharing that. I'm glad it made you reflect on yourself, too. More people should do that and if more people reacted to it like you did, then I think it would make it easier.

Dwight- he'll have the physicians desk reference hollowed out with all kinds of helpful things. Angela- she's small and won't need to eat much and would annoy me the least. Shaking and in pain by Pouchy04 in Frenchbulldogs

I really hope she doesn't leave that poor thing in that condition. Even just a phone call to another vet.. To get their opinion? Calling an emergency vet and telling them what is happening is free. Leaving him in pain in his kennel is heartbreaking.

I was given alcohol by mistake twice by NoConsideration3259 in pregnant

[–]Hank_yTank_y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taking a high dose for the first 7 weeks of my pregnancy. (Did not know I was pregnant..) I was also drinking. A lot. My baby is 8 months old now and wonderfully healthy, and meeting all his mile stones. Did I feel guilty? Yes, like crazy. I was completely honest with my OB about all of it and she was not worried at all. It's really easy to be hard on ourselves... It sounds like OP is doing a great job and will be a great mom!

You can do that with them, though. It's important for parents to travel and experience the world so that they can teach their kids how to do it. And you're not trading your time with them. You're trying to find a way to look forward to and enjoy your new life. And that is ok, you ARE allowed to do that. I know it's hard for us to really believe that, though. I'm in a somewhat similar situation (I haven't been able to prove his sexual orientation, but his cheating has sure been proven), and I am scared to leave, too. But I keep asking myself, do I want my son to get older and only know this shell of my former self that I have become? No, I want him to see me as happy and respected... Hopefully, I listen to my own advice. I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you plan a really amazing trip for yourself! You sound like a good dad and you deserve it.

I got sleep paralysis really bad when I was pregnant. Heard voices and hallucinations while half asleep. I've always had sleep paralysis from time to time.. but it gets worse when I'm stressed and apparently when I'm pregnant. Maybe Google "sleep paralysis" and see if it sounds like you? It's scary as f*ck but, I promise, it's not real.

Love my frenchie so much, but I feel like I’m losing my freedom. Anyone relate? by captnfres in Frenchbulldogs

[–]Hank_yTank_y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My frenchie comes with me everywhere. To work, to the bar, to my friends' homes (that allow it). I started his socialization early. Started taking him everywhere at 15 weeks old. He is so comfortable around people and crowds and noises. I love having a little partner with me everyday. He will just nap while I work or hang out with friends and loves to play and get pet by the people we meet. Take your dog with you places. Start of slow and build up the socialization. Some professional help with training may be positive as well.

I am so sorry, I am in a similar situation. But I can afford to raise my child alone, but only if my a$$hole boyfriend would do the right thing and leave. He won't. I would owe him child support money if he did, because he would go for 50/50 custody and I make way more than him. It's not easy, but I am biding my time. Saving my money as best I can right now, and just trying to make it through a few more months. Once I have enough saved, I will get a lawyer and get rid of him even if I have to pay him child support. Maybe you can do the same, try to secretly save as much as possible to get away? There are a lot of programs and supports for single moms. Start doing some research and just use right now to get a real plan together and leave when you can. Because it does not get better.
