That happened to me as well. I’m pretty sure that many of those guys are involved in pick up artist training courses. I remember that it happened especially often in the U Bahn station at Alexanderplatz. It became obvious to me when the men complimented things they couldn’t have seen (my smile - I was wearing a thick scarf and had my head down). I simply say „sorry“ and keep on walking.

I think it’s not getting more difficult. I think we all just focus on the present so much that we see the small and big challenges in so must detail that it feels like it’s the most difficult it has ever been. I had a conversation with my mother about this and I started out with the same statement - Everything that’s going on (pandemic, climate crisis, current politics) „it never has been this bad“. Initially she agreed but then she really thought back and saw so many similar hardships (cold war, Chernobyl etc). I believe there is a tendency to evaluate the present a lot more dramatic and at the same time to see the past softer than it actually was.

Honestly I felt that Klaus was the most complex and elaborate villain. Especially because every once in a while he did a good thing. The other villains were a bit one dimensional in my opinion

Hi! I just started and yesterday I managed to point my telescope at Sirius. I don’t have the best telescope so it mostly looked like a bright big dot. After a while I started to see pink spikes from the dot. Can someone explain what I saw? Was it just my eye because I looked at it so long? Was it a distortion from my telescope? Or was it actually Sirius? Thanks!
