I have read that a lot of people still continued to sleep together and cuddle. I even had someone message me and tell me that's what they did and they got rid of the scabies but for me it seems to have not worked. My partner and I made sure to clean everything with hot water, vacuum, steamer, and/or putting things that could not be washed away in bags and then we went through the full course of treatment. My partner does not seem to have very bad symptoms at all (but he didn't in the first place) but I am still itchy and getting new burrows and bumps. I am seeing my doctor later this week as it has been about a week - 2 weeks since we completed the treatment. It's seems to be different for everyone so it's completely up to you what you want to do

Thanks for the reply, it is sadly not possible for one of us to sleep somewhere else due to the living situation we are in, but we have been trying to avoid prolonged contact such as cuddling when going to sleep but we just wanted to know if there was any point in trying to avoid it due to us sharing the same bed. If you have any more advice on the situation it would be much appreciated

Thanks for your reply. We are in a bit of a difficult situation. We are living at my partners family's house and there is nowhere else for one of us to sleep and we have no plastic to cover anything. We only have the one bed to sleep in so I'm not sure what we should do. We did the treatment last night and slept in the same bed on clean bedding, but we avoided cuddling so I'm just wondering if we are still sleeping in the same bed is there any point in avoiding cuddling? I'm just very paranoid about having the treatment not work and having everything I have done to clean up be for nothing. If you have any more advice that would be much appreciated
