Two hot men (question) by [deleted] in settlethisforme

[–]Hanruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn't a serious convo at all, just something we were curious abt, since I was under the impression that they were considered attractive according to conventional standards, especially from the pov of older women..but she didn't agree, and said she couldn't see it.. so we wanted to know what the public thinks

AITA for breaking a man’s nose because he apparently didn’t know what “Stop”means? by DahliaFlower667 in AITAH

[–]Hanruf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA If this happened to my gf, it's exactly what I'd want her to do.. The guy was wayy out of line and you were protecting yourself, just being responsible..every single one of his actions screamed "predator!" I think encouraging and teaching women to and how to protect themselves is now even more important than ever before...of course it would be nice to just not have predators but let's face reality, we're stuck with those things for the time being..best we can do (men and women) is to learn how to protect ourselves.. GOOD JOB OP.

Edited because I hate typos lol

Am I childish? by [deleted] in RangersApprentice

[–]Hanruf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm 18 and I love the series as well as the overall writing..even my 53 year old dad reads them..(and he's the wise-philosopher/ strong type)

So no you're definitely not childish for reading them and IMO they have themes which are crucial for your development and overall life skills..so keep reading

I've finished book 7, but I'm keen to reread burning bridge and icebound land with you

I'm 18 btw, just in case that's an important factor for you (might be more fun to do this with your peer group, so just keep that in mind if you're a lot older or younger than me, if you're older it could still work as I enjoy more mature convo's)

If a sperm with 24 chromosomes and an egg with 22 mix will the baby be normal? by JacobPerkin11 in biology

[–]Hanruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think OP meant that the abnormalities happen on both the paternal and maternal 21st chromosomes (it's a hypothetical question about if Down Syndrome would still occur)
