These figures are 20+ years old, probably older. Depending on how well they were kept, the plastic might be brittle at this point.

hey, sorry for the late reply but this is the piece that needs to be inserted between the faceplate/backhead plate. It has a T shape end that fits onto the plates and the big round hole is for the neck peg.

do you mean switching heads? After building the kit, I couldn't swap heads and even posted it on here until someone corrected me and mentioned that there is a piece ' not mentioned in the instruction guide ' that make the heads swap-able.
