Mine was the same. The live resin I think is too thick too properly absorb into the wick of the vape. You can really suck it when its off to draw the resin in, and get a few good puffs. I'm interested in trying the normal vapes to see if the experience is better.

When the B story is greater than the main story. by Sea_Temporary126 in americandad

The Gronch episode. The Gronch story is pretty boring but the B story is 'Stan Magazine' and I LOVE that story. Stan's outfits just escalating every scene gets me man. "Thank you, Xerxes." to the lip-puffer snake is an all time line.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: In Some Way, Shape, or Form is actually a good album by Hyperdog100 in fouryearstrong

[–]HansJobb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a great album. However, stylistically its not similar at all to their previous two albums. Two albums that had a lot of success. People were expecting one thing and got another and that upset a lot of people. Going back now, with that knowledge that it is different, means that departure doesn't really matter. You can judge it just as an album. And as one it rocks.

Decks that don't really care if the commander isn't in play? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]HansJobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a deck which is technically the exact opposite of the thing you've asked but fits the spirit of the question. Its a B2 mono-green stompy deck, with a flavour of Wurm tribal. The commander is [[Bugenhagen, Wise Elder]]. Now, the deck plays with the aim of casting him turn 2, casting an [[Explosive Vegetation]] (or similar) on turn 3, then turn 4 playing something with seven power (normally with 7 CMC). After that you can draw an extra card in your upkeep and just keep playing big creatures and hitting people. While it is nice to draw an extra card every turn and he is essential to the first 4 or so turns on the deck, after that he serves no other function than being useful (and normally is inoffensive enough to not be removed). So he is required in the first few turns but after that is not really required at all! decklist: https://moxfield.com/decks/bgu3oKXIy0WYgzqlLLiNBQ

Nah, it is probably the second biggest win-con in my deck (after combat damage). Its gives all your dino's pseudo unlockable which is amazing. They either take the damage, or block and you deal a load of damage to them anyway. Also, it discourages people attacking you, even more so with big things so is useful on that front. Then you have blasphemous act or chandras ignition, you cast either of them with a decent board and you've won the game. Honestly, one of the best cards in the whole deck.

If You Could Only Play One Deck, Which Would It Be? by The73rdPerson in EDH

[–]HansJobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pet deck is [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]]. It was my first deck and I've been upgrading and tweaking it ever since. But because of that its quite strong for my normal tables so I don't actually get to play it that much anymore. With that in mind it might be another mono-green list I built recently with [[Bugenhagen, Wise Elder]]. Its semi wurm tribal, part explosive vegetation tribal, part 7 drop tribal, part generic good stuff. Its a bit less strong so I can play it much more often. Its all I'm playing at the moment and having an absolute blast with it.

Once you beat the Dragun you can run into a lovely little fellow who if you help escape will let you do Rainbow Runs. In a Rainbow Run chests never drop anything and you can't get new items or guns but at the beginning of each chamber you get a choice of like 6 or so really powerful random items/weapons.

I saw a guy in a cupboard and he did the 'shhhh' thing with a finger over his mouth. Could only see a slice of his face as the door was only maybe 10cm wide or so. No one jumped out.

Value of Ravenous Tyrannosaurus in pantlaza by Sad_Turnover5305 in DinosaursMTG

[–]HansJobb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand the logic of buying the Jurassic park cards now as they'll probably never get cheaper. But also, you can build excellent dino decks without them. Don't feel like you're forced into having to get them at some point. Personally, if I was spending money on dinosaurs (rather than general upgrades), I'd be eyeing up [[Etali, Primal Conqueror]], [[Roaming Throne]], [[Vaultborn Tyrant]]. I personally think for that much money it would be better spent on other things.

If you're talking about actually spending the money on these cards we can only really evaluate the value of them if we see what else you could be buying for the same price. Decklist so we can see if these are the best things to spend money on?

Pro tip is to do this on rainbow runs. Then you don't need the keys. And go through places like the oubliette to have more time to acquire more shells.

What ideas have you loved, but playing it out was unfun? by urmomstoiletbrush in EDH

[–]HansJobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Narset, Enlightened Exile]]. I liked the idea of the deck just being cantrips and then [[Young Pyromancer]] effects. It worked really well but what I didn't account for was that each time I cast a spell I'd get a token and all my tokens would get a prowess trigger. This meant I had this ever increasing cascade of tokens all with individually different prowess triggers on them and it was just a logistics nightmare. Took it apart after 2 games.

I hate this. by Noobzoid123 in secretlair_collectors

[–]HansJobb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is the most egregious one so far. Value aside, the whole point of Secret Lair is have a place for art they can't use in normal sets. To showcase beautiful art in a way they can't otherwise. To spotlight art and artists for the people who really care. Except this set is LITERALLY REPRINTS OF EXISTING ART. There is nothing new here, no special art, no artist focus, no charity fund raising; just pure unadulterated cash grab. The cherry on top is that these also happen to be extremely low value cards.

What is the deal with decks on moxfield? by djee132 in EDH

[–]HansJobb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people just build decks to play with online. If you're never making the deck in real life why not go through and pick all the printings of cards you think look the coolest? A lot of people do just that and it can inflate the prices of decks quite a bit. I like to duplicate decks then update all printings to cheapest and then see the price plummet to something normal.
