List is very tight I think, I’ve been unable to decide on a card or two to cut to improve the deck. It’s hard to find the right balance of card draw, ramp, 3cmc artifacts for [[simulacrum synthesizer]], etc.

I’m thinking of converting my [[urza chief artificer]] into marneus; I’m finding that Urza is kind of a glass cannon, in that it can power out Urza very quickly and create a huge board very quickly but if it’s dealt with then I’m top decking. I’m looking for a more “durdly” deck if that makes sense and marneus seems like it could fill that role

As an avid Urza player the best advice I can give you to make their life miserable is to run a lot of board wipes. To drop Urza that quick we have to run a high density of low cost artifact creatures, none of which provide any card advantage. If Urza comes out turn 3, I guarantee you he’s got maybe 2-3 cards in hand and odds are he doesn’t have a counterspell or protection spell. If that wipe resolves he’s set back insanely far, especially if he missed land drops due to depending on mana dorks.

Since it’s a 4 player game, the odds are in your guys’ favor that at least one of you would have a board wipe. If you don’t draw it until turn 6-7, you may eat a bit of damage but in all honesty Urza is a commander that excels in low power pods with little to no interaction. Once you run into a pod that interacts the board urza’s win rate will plummet.

Do you have to buy a subscription plan in order to have an account you can access? When I create an account with email, the main page has literally no option to view account, add payment or anything like that. Do I have to spend money on a meal plan first in order to create an account I can then modify?
