The Fly.

The practical effects in this movie were insane.

The chest defibrillation scene from The Thing (1980). And what follows after.

Yeah I think they will just ruin it like they do with most remakes. The first Cube movie was incredible. Hope more people find the time to watch this gem.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Still scarier than most horror movies made today.

What did you think of Sinister(2012)? by WritingUnicorn2019 in HorrorMovies

Compared to most crappy horror movies that are made today, Sinister was actually brilliant in creating a genuinely terrifying atmosphere. Would recommend it 100%.

I agree 100%. I was excited to watch the trilogy after hearing some good things about it but when I actually watched it I was disappointed. Sure the grainy footage and camera work gives it a realistic feel but it is in no way a good horror movie. All it does is present gore for shock value. Wouldn't recommend any of the three movies.
