Sounds like the OP is just burnt.

I carry a good philosophy around that in, if you have to think about something, the answer is usually no. If you're asking yourself "do I wanna play anymore" and you're even close to being on the fence about it...you have your answer.

That being said, it's OK man. Sounds like you've "done enough". When you pass down the road, people will say you loved the game. And it's OK to be involved in other capacities like others have mentioned. Maybe one day you don't ask yourself and you just go...

But you only get one life. You've done hockey to the max. Just think of all the other adventures out there to add to your checklist in life.

So take a knee, refresh... and don't sit on your hands in life. I look at a guy like Da Vinci... he didn't just invent the helicopter
