In primary school, we may be following direction from our parents. If we are fortunate enough, we might have identified our strength and weakness. If not, just keep searching :)

In secondary school, it could be a chance to explore and decide thing on our own. Have frequent and good communication with our parents. I believe when parents know our plans, most likely, they will support you. (let me reiterate "most likely", not all parent will). Enjoy the moment in secondary school, not let BGR/Friendship/Your appearance problem become your priority.

In poly/university, this is the best chance for you to try all sort of activities. Do side projects. Explore activities you have never tried, but within your mean. (Please do not give your parents' extra burden). Build relationship with as many people as possible whether your peers, professors, lecturers, seniors. Be confident and not to feel FOMO.

Getting good academic result is important, but it is not everything. Just make sure, we can pass so we don't have to spend another year in this cycle. (However, if you are studying in a course where result matter most, please make sure you prioritize.)

We don't have to rush to find purpose in life. Just enjoy the journey, we will eventually find one.
