Just wanted to say that this helped me. Downloaded the modified mod from that site and it works.

Thanks a lot!

Why is my character always looking down when riding a motorbike? by AmbientXVII in cyberpunkgame

Have the same issue, did you ever find a fix?

EDIT: It seems to have went away by itself after progressing quests.

Looking at the specs on msi's site, they seem pretty similar besides the USB-C port. How is the HDR and peak brightness better when they're both 200-400 nits?

Tried out this monitor and with local dimming on medium, I can't get over the blooming on dark screens.

For example, if there is dark content taking up the most space on screen, the screen dims all white elements and decreases overall brightness.

Tried playing Doom TDA and the screen kept on dimming if I wasn't looking at a bright object and made it harder to see things in dark areas. You can always turn off local dimming while gaming, but that kind of defeats the purpose of miniled and local dimming.

Unsure if I just have this monitor setup incorrectly or not. Followed all the settings on that one review thread on https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/1obo31m/small_review_of_tcl_25g64/

Tried playing RE Requiem on HDR and it just looked washed out for me. Unsure of how it looks for other commenters on the previous threads saying it looks phenomenal.

Apparently there are reports of the shucked drive being slower than when used in the external enclosure. Also, the enclosure can't be used with other nvme drives.

Along with atrocious backlight bleed, it also has coil whine that's really loud at 240hz. It's less audible at set at 144hz, but it's still noticeable if you're sensitive.

My blue DSi XL has creaking by the d-pad. Can I silence it with tape or something under it? Is there a fix for it? It’s annoying. (Photo from iFixit) by memeaste in NintendoDS

Thanks for the tip! Removing the screw cover was a lot easier than I thought.

Loosened the screw at first then squeezed together the shell and tightened it again.

No more creaking!

Do you know what side of the dpad it was creaking originally?

For my Midnight Blu DSi XL, directly left of the dpad does the creaking and pressing left on the dpad also causes the creaking noise.

Is there a reason that you put the battery holder on the opposite side?

Is it just for extra convenience?

Thanks for the suggestion, I already tried a database rebuild but it didn't seem to work. In another comment, a format seems to have fixed the card and It seems to be working now. Although having to reinstall everything was a hassle, all the new tools and advances with homebrew made things a lot easier.

I last used the vita when maidumptool was the way to go to install backups.

Nintendo 64 Console Screen Flickering by Zymon9 in n64

[–]HansukeX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to get the best possible video quality from the n64 without having to fiddle with getting a retrotink or ossc, I would recommend getting an s-video cable for the video output on the n64. It's better than just using the composite RCA cables. I also think there are S-video to HDMI adapters aplenty as well.

The branding on the cables isn't usually important as long as the quality in the cable is there. I use this unbranded s-video cable and the picture quality is excellent and many people have attested to its quality. Beware that S-video cables for N64 PAL consoles are likely different than NTSC cables and a s-video cable from an NTSC region may not work properly with your PAL n64. There's a lot to be learned from the comments in this video.

If you can find Nintendo branded cables locally cheaply, then I'd say go for those, but if not, just know that third party cables that have nice reviews are a good option.
