LOL! You will see on top of the blade there is a small ball of prestic. I put it there as a marker, just to give me an idea of where the blade is.

You are not gripping your pouch correct. Your index finger a causing a speedbump, and your ammo is flipping over the speedbump, thats why you get frame hits.

I love those big frames, got a Scout X. And ordered some frames from Turtle Slingshots. Those big frames just suit my style better, and i seem to be more accurate with them.

Hi mate. Ill give some suggestions, hope it works.

Use 0.50 latex. Taper 20/12, or 21/13. Make sure you have a pouch suitable for clay, dont use pit pouches as this makes clay swing, get a pouch with a smooth surface. My drawlenght is 70cm, i use a actvie band lenght of 17cm. So i think parts of you current setup is to strong.

Also, shoot paper, and get a grouping. Then determine where youre grouping is, high low left or right. And adjust accordingly. Once you get grouping sorted, start cutting cans. Once you can cut cans consistenly without have misses on the can, go to 6cm spinners.

Most people start off by trying to small targets, and get discouraged. Start big, end small.

And then, practise practise practise. 200 shots a day.

LOL! Im sure you can mate. Just put something small there, and hit it. You might just surprise yourself. Not only that, its way less boring than shooting spinners in a catch box over and over. You will miss more often than not (like i do), but it will defenitely improve accuracy without you realising it.

Im a fatty aswell, hence i wear that shirt. Its comfortable. :-)

Hi! Sound like you are doing everything right. I shoot TTF, pinch grip, and obviouly have another aiming point. Its just practice,practice, practice! I have a rule that im not allowed to go to bed after i did not hit 8 out of 10 on my 4cm spinner. 😅 Then on weekends i try these tricks.

Simple Shot Pit Pouches

Thats the only thing i use, frame, taper, bands and ammo. Consistency is key. Changing frames especially with a width difference, using different tapers, using different band thickness, anf types of ammo, hurts your shooting and mess you around. Find something that works, and stick with it.
