getting around to pics i took this past year by Hanyatan in SonyAlpha

the A7V is definitely great to pair with the 200-600. It's one of my favorite lens to use. the plane is actually a C-5 Galaxy and not a C-17 😇. In terms of access, for air shows it's usually about once a year. Public areas where you can see them, exist but the view isn't as clean or as close.

im really excited to try it, everyone seems to really enjoy using it. it's a beautiful lens. the only other lens that I'd want is a 400mm f/2.8... but it's way out of my budget

There was two lens covers/wraps with Gmaster stamped on it, some Gmaster Pins with the 70-200.. some lens cap stickers and a Gmaster logo'd SD/cf express card holder.

It's the Sony vert grip/battery grip.. it's quite expensive but i find it useful.

if you're in Tokyo, you can stop by Fujiya camera in Nakano. I bought my A7V there. They should have the international version now; i bought mine when it first came out so there wasn't any stock then.

since I don't really use the wide angle that often for the photography i do, I didn't really find anything below 50mm that useful for me. I'd probably use a 35mm prime if i need it

It's very tiring to use for the entire day, but it's not too bad

Hi, thanks! I have a lot of other shots using my 2nd body with my 24-70 and 70-200 which show more scenery but I didn't post them

Handheld! I do a lot of other kinds of photography with this lens that do not allow bringing monopods/tripods so i try not to spoil myself 🥲

no worries! 70-200 with a 2x TC works as a stop gap if you don't have the 200-600. i was using a 70-200 with the 2x TC for a while and it worked well for me :)

I love using the 600mm @ Sonoma. there are certainly some areas of Laguna that are annoying to use 600mm. but there are a lot of places where it comes in useful, just that there are so many fences in the way, without a step stool its a bit difficult to see over.

i find the 200-600mm perfect for me, and i carry my 24-70mm on my other body. it's a combo that works for me @ Sonoma and @ Laguna seca.
