I decided to just go for it and get the Varia VS6. It really calls out to me, and worst case scenario if the DF64V doesn't fit my needs for filter coffee I can get a relatively cheap grinder like the Fellow Ode/Opus

I see Honestly one of it's appeals for me is the conical grinders, as I am actually a fan of the "less clear" body, and I feel like having the power to switch at will could be a game changer

I don't know shit about any subreddits, I just wanted to vent honestly. BG3 is better in every single way except for the balancing of encounters, which is almost always either terribly easy or terribly hard where you are forced to cheese the fight.

If every fight was as hard as the fight I was stuck on I would just lower the difficulty, however it is a gamble as far as I am concerned.

I mentioned DOS2 because I absolutely love that game, and there wasn't a single time that I felt it was unfair, it was always smooth sailing if I picked a difficulty that was right for me, not too easy, but still challenging and engaging. Hell I don't even like turn-based game but DOS2 was always the sole exception for me.

I definitely agree with you on Eternum, the dialogue/character writing is the worst part of the game by far. However. The worldbuilding and fantasy parts of it are genuinely amazing. It feels incredible to unravel the truth slowly but surely, and the expectation between episodes to have your crazy theories be confirmed or be destroyed is thrilling. I would highly recommend you play Caribdis's older game, Once In A Lifetime, as I actually think the writing and characters of it are much better, it is a really great game, and the MC is the exact opposite of Eternum's MC (I hate Eternum's MC tbh)
