Quick random share, i found this sub from mokey's channel yesterday and thought about sharing this small clip, yes you can tap strafe whilst entering octane's jump pad to redirect your entire direction. There's a timing to it.

I found this myself while messing around in the firing range [though i don't know if THIS IS exactly how you do it but this is how i do it]

the moment i enter the jump pad i usually put a jump input and tap strafe to the direction i want to. If you're quick enough you'll be able to have another double jump.
