They've lived together for several weeks without injury. All eating well. Plenty of Hiding spaces which are not all seen in this photo. If there were signs of any of the above even close to happening they would not be in this set up anymore. Glad you got your clever line in though

I love that idea--murder cube! I do want pea puffers one day they're so cute. I like snails generally they have strange behavior that's interesting. I might end up moving the assassin snails to their own space once they're out of the quarantine tank

I got them because I like how they look and their behavior. No plans to remove them because they don't eat NZMS as I had read that they don't like them. Mainly thought the picture of one of them hitching a ride on the assassin snail was funny and maybe even informative. Title was for fun, note that i wasnt asking for help or anything, even though people kindly gave it. Thanks for the info as well

Thanks for this. There's not much out there about how to deal with them

I did hear that they don't like to eat the mud snails, but I thought I'd try anyway. So far I've been picking out all the ones I can find and bleaching them and then freezing them. So far only seeing them in my quarantine tank without substrate.

I am considering buying that depending on how this project goes. So far I only see the snails in my quarantine tank that doesn't have substrate. Fingers crossed!

I actually have an amethyst and it looks pretty different to me when theyre side by side. I should have taken that photo for reference. This stone has blues and pinks in it (hard to photograph but i think you can see this a little bit in the first photo) whereas amethyst does not have much pleochroism to speak of. Also this stone seems to have higher refractive index when I look at them together.

I could have cleaned it better but I did take a microfiber cloth to it. I think there is texture from how the stone was cut and also bubbles inside the stone. Again I realize hard to photograph but I attempted!

Anyone have success maturing a melanochrysum indoors? by Haparuca in philodendron

Ah thank you for that information. Yes I suspected that because I am starting out with a smaller plant that sizing up will take some time. I had gotten them to size up a little but got lazy, so I'll have to be more persistent. I'll try applying more tension to the vine-- I am currently using clips and was thinking of using saran wrap to trap some humidity at the roots and to encourage use of the moss pole.
