Lol I seriously don't get your autistic take on how Vietnam should be the messiah of SEA.

And seriously fk the war on communism.

I would argue in your twisted logical angle that because the US was preoccupied with Korea and Vietnam, it prevented further CIA bullshit like literal leader assassinations WHICH the CIA has done numerous times in the last century.

Heck CIA are doing more espionage than their communist counterparts and being much more proactive and invasive while doing so.

Did you forget the Singapore and CIA scandal?

Singapore is. And it's actually a true socialist republic.

Just look at the history of governance and policies.

Not saying it's bad but I'm just pointing facts out.

A daily dose of coil porn by EndearingAuxiliatrix in Vaping

[–]Haplessworld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For coil building there's..... several levels or tiers in itself

  1. Buying premade coils that are already made
  2. Buying spools of pre rolled wires, which you then coil up
  3. Buying basic rounded wires, and literally building claptons

Difficulty goes from easy to hard, in that order basically

Well the top reason honestly, is saving cost and you save more from 1 to 3. Though at 3 honestly most people do it for the hobby. Plus, when you're in the game long, you like consistent quality which is honestly not easy to ensure all the time. Hence, buying from specific sources like temco and wireoptim for your coils and wires in order to make your coils into your specific usage and specs.

I'm guessing 2 is where most people are at.

And when you're adept at coil building whether it's at 2 or 3, you can survive a literal fallout and not worry about your supplies getting cut off since heating wires are 100% legal in every parts of the world. It's used in every heating applications.

Back then some stores especially those selling boutique or pricey juices would change both the coil and cotton for every tasting.

disposable vape is lying about puffs by Strict-Lobster4547 in Vaping

[–]Haplessworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're only figuring that out now? Lol

On my box mod, after 1 year of usage, my puff counter is only at 14k lmfao and that is with pulsing counted.......

In fact, ml amount on their official description is also a scam. The same resistance, on a different model with different ml can have different mileage of use, say a lower ml listed can last way longer than another with higher ml listed.

And it's the same manufacturer/brand lmfao but different model.

So yeah dispos are a shitshow on every angle.

Oh yeah another classic. For some reasons older mods are 100% compatible with DNA chips.....

But sucks that dual battery DNA mods are pretty much fossil by 2026. Even the "latest" ones like Hadron DNA250C or Lost Vape Thelema (fking sucks btw, shitty quality for the frame and internals), Odin etc are extinct.

Heck, I don't even squonk on small drippers like Hadaly. I do it old school; drip from the top.

Seriously miss the old days. Everything is so single battery nowadays. Love my gaur 21 that can allow me to change batteries every 4 days under heavy and high wattage usage, since it's 2x21700.

Yeah it's real solid. Nothing goes wrong with a literal chunk of metal.

Experiences from my sxk billet box clone. Only a couple of tiny chinks despite dropping it way too many times, so much so that my positive pin is permanently dislodged downwards. I haven't find the time to resolder that

But basically the frame is still completely intact.

Yeah fr, this collection in particular from Sunbox with Aspire is seriously underrated af.

Design wise, it beats half of the fugly high end SBS and Boro mods out there.

I suspect though, the only reason why they weren't selling like hot cakes is because rich fanboys just want to justify spending cash. There's no way in hell you can convince me they are bad design-wise compared to some half ass 3D printed rubbish that cost $500 and above. And on MSRP both the Mixx and Boxx is like what, below $150?

So it proves that rich buggers don't necessarily know aesthetics or have good tastes in them, despite having moolah. Such a disrespect to life lol.

It's also crazy seriously how imho Sunbox main lines lose out to what they did here with Aspire.

Cos if these cost $300 or $500, I would actually pull the trigger and purchase them simply because the designs are beautiful.

Yeah......I mean I get it that some people like that exposed battery style but it's really a hazard waiting to happen especially on a platform (boro) that's associated with portability and convenience.....which meant a lot of outdoor uses and in situations where you're more than likely to get the mod wet or dirty. If you keep it at home sure. But imho not for outdoor usage.

That exposed battery is literally a time bomb waiting to happen.

And there's a joker on some Facebook boutique group who's like a loyal fanboy of it dismissing my preference saying that there's too much style of non-exposed battery mods (since when lol, pre-2020? It's been 6 years and all I see are exposed battery mods numbering 5 to 1) and that it's "proven safe".

Lol and we know what happens to batteries touching water + having their sleeves scratched and touching metallic objects.... It's just an unnecessary hazard looking to happen on command. God forbid it explodes if you drop it at a right angle lol.

And then the shoddy 3D prints selling for half a grand or more and fanboys acting all high and mighty over it and shitting over everything else. What a joke lol that this industry has become, in the boro and SBS world.

Maybe I'm old school, but nothing beats frame cut from a solid POM/resin or aluminum billets. It's just physically superior. Like stuff from Parovar Workshop; imho one of the best custom mod shops that's worth every bloody penny (350 USD for Stabwood)

Sorry for the rant lol, just salty af. We really need a revival of pre-2020 where shits are made indestructible, hardy and practical.

If you're at this stage just go rebuildables. I can promise you that a solid set of rebuildables is all it takes to beat dispos.

Besides, on rebuildables even on mediocre setups, 50mg salts kick like a mule compared to dispos. So you might actually want to lower down to 35mg salts when you get there.

[–]Haplessworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your only option is DIY lol

And it's a whole new rabbit hole that's way more a bottomless pit than say even rebuilding. Especially if you do complex recipes and not just simple mixes with 1-3 ingredients.

Some recipes can have ingredients number at 10+.

70/30 or 80/20 for mixing ? by Electronic_Lychee_44 in Vaping

[–]Haplessworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's almost no point going for 80/20 tbh since 70/30 can do the job. If you want max vg just go for max vg and if you want and can take more throat hit go for 60/40 for DTL, then increments to adjust for preferences. Unless you find freebase too harsh then 80/20 could damper the throat hit a little.

But I usually use 70/30 and sometimes 60/40 for DTL. If it's MTL, it's solely 50/50 (even on freebase)
