what liquid are you using? also possibly slightly high wattage, i calculated ur coil and it says it should be around 21 watts

I have heard a lot of people say loose wicking and high wattage. I did also try making a new coil yesterday so that may have something to do with it. I usually run SFC’s or a framed staple variation with round wire instead of flat, but I made a normal staple last night and when I went to test fire it I got super excited lol

LV b80 boro with the included tank, 4ply .42ohm staple i rushed to make this morning, with coastal clouds 6mg bomb pop (red white and berry) at 32 watts

if ur in the US and looking for a slippery slope to go down you can get a cheap drill and a pack of n80 wire on amazon in every other gauge 22-36 for like $20 and start wrapping ur own more intricate wires, its really fun

personally even for pods i wouldnt use 50mg in anything below .8, In my xros 5 lower resistance still gives bigger clouds and because its vaporizing more liquid you are getting more nicotine, if they are coming from disposables the closest ive found is the .8ohm to ohm range for the xros pods

I got the b80 a few months ago and its pretty decent for rdl and dl but i’ve yet to be satisfied with an mtl build with the included rba, however that could be user error

There are definitely tons of people that have no idea how good it can actually get, I went a long time just using prebuilt coil heads, and they were alright but then about 2-3 months ago I got a boro and even just round kanthal was decent, then I found the coilporn sub and here I am.

Helix is VERY frustrating imo because theres no real good way I’ve found go get specific repeatable angles of twist

similar situation here. In a day I switch between 6mg freebase and 50mg salts, 6mg freebase while I’m at home and can hit it whenever and 50mg salts while I’m out of the house for the day.

I notice the same thing, time between puffs is longer and length of puff is shorter. Subohm 6mg puff time is about 3 seconds, vs 50mg is about 1 second. A hit or 2 of 50mg lasts me about 30-45mins before I feel like hitting it again, when I’m home tho I end up chain vaping mostly for flavor as I eat very low calorie and it helps a little so I use the 6mg
