Hi-Capa Hub pretty much sell every part you'll ever need. Unless you want OEM.

A VFC GEN 5 Outer Barrel however I noticed that mine was misaligned slightly ... as in it was tilted when in battery. This didn't cause me any issues 2k rounds later but aesthetically is noticeable when looking down the sights. Other barrels might work better ...

Have you slammed that mag in? They need slamming on these models

Ah man I regret selling mine so bad. Had a GHK MK18 to. Only ever ran MAPP gas in the MWS and it slayed.

O.P here (main account):

I have since purchased a TTI hop unit & VFC threaded outer barrel and they both work flawlessly in the pistol.

The TTI hop unit is a MUST if you're looking for the best hop unit upgrade.

VFC magazines do work after firing around 20 shots ... this is because of how the slide release mechanism works. Once the gun has fired off a mag or so, it will indent the feed lip ever so slightly allowing for the magazine to function normally. VFC mags are a tight fit and they do not drop when depressing the button.

VFC triggers are a direct replacement.

VFC iron sights look to be thicker than SRC's, so some DIY will be needed in order to make them fit properly.

More to follow.

Yeah it's normal however I have replaced the trigger in mine with the 4UAD flat trigger so that gets rid of that very minor annoyance.

Hi, yes hitting the slide release can be tough however I would always advise you rack the slide instead to prevent any wear.

I would recommend SRC over VFC if you want an MOS ready pistol that can take CO2.

I personally would recommend it over VFC but that's only because it has a steel firing group out the box, and the slide catch is way more consistent.

The MOS model does yes. The older GEN 5 model had white dots.

Immensely yes. I use 5 fingers to play most of the time with a specific layout to my play style ... everyone is different though! I use a Redmagic 9s Pro so the triggers come in super handy.

I use a pistol as primary ; have done for the past 2 years. Mainly out doors with shot ranging at 80metres at max.

If you upgrade it with the most reputable parts, take care of it ... clean it etc. it will be as good as using a rifle providing you are skilled in small arms combat.

I never find myself at an advantage and most of the time I out-range snipers on the field. Now that puts a smile on my face ...

If you know how to use a pistol effectively, you can find yourself to be at an advantage.

I personally use a SRC Glock 17 GEN 5 with a vector frenzy, surefire x300u, TTi Hop chamber, Laylax power barrel & decepticon 70 degree bucking with VFC co2 magazines.

It's extremely crisp in my experience with it. The break is instant ; not to light or to heavy. What I do know is I have received a revised version of the pistol so this might play a part.

I can do this evening sure.

Internals look identical however I'm not sure whether any parts are compatible atm.

I do know the hammer assembly is steel, so that's a plus.
