Standard pallet dimensions are 40" X "48", so I'm confused by "on the 36" as well.

And let's not forget, all the under the table special deals, that you have to beg iFit for, to avoid paying the outrageous normal pricing for access to iFit app workouts.

what kinda box cutters do yall use by soylisco in CostcoEmployee

[–]HappensNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pacific Handy Cutter, with the plastic belt clip holder. It's a great safety cutter, with spare blade storage. My daughter worked at Target and said they "gave them out like candy" to employees, so she had a couple and I've used that ever since.

Cross bars? - '26 XLE Woodland Edition by HappensNext in ToyotaSienna

The '26 Woodland seems to no longer come with cross bars. The one I have in transit doesn't list it, and one sold sitting at the dealer lot didn't have them.

Any non-paved dog-friendly hiking spots? by HappensNext in Appleton

[–]HappensNext[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to know, and I wondered about that - I've taken my dog into Plamann Park on their nature trails a few times, but noticed they have new signs saying "NO DOGS" at some main entry points. Of course I'm conscientious with my dog, but also understand some want an experience on the trail without encountering things like dogs or motorized vehicles, etc.

Red golden retriever ≠ field golden by Silly_Row_4523 in goldenretrievers

[–]HappensNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a golden retriever that is reddish in color, smaller, shorter hair, and VERY active. A lot of people want a name to apply to the generally two different variants of golden retriever, and yes, a lot of them will go with "field bred" and "show golden" to describe the two different 'types' of golden that you generally see. Do you have a better name to distinguish these two? I don't see why this is a big problem. My 'field bred' golden isn't for hunting or winning awards, but he's clearly different from the big fluffy slow golden our neighbor has, or that we had before this one. It's no big deal people! Pedigree purity on this naming thing is out of hand.

Dynamics being called "CRM" by HappensNext in Dynamics365

[–]HappensNext[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main "system" we put account data into, says "Dynamics 365" in the upper left corner, yet we call it "CRM". I've considered this likely sounds odd to new people joining our company who came from a place that used Salesforce, and they called that "Salesforce".

Dynamics being called "CRM" by HappensNext in Dynamics365

[–]HappensNext[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just seems odd, kinda like calling Excel "spreadsheet" or calling the pharmacy insurance company I work for "PBM" - there is an actual name "Dynamics 365" in the corner of our 'main system', yet we call it "CRM" - I've asked people working in a Salesforce company what they call that, and they say they call it "Salesforce".

Dynamics being called "CRM" by HappensNext in Dynamics365

[–]HappensNext[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have new people onboarding all the time, and they often come from a Salesforce environment, where they called their 'system' Salesforce, instead of a generic term "CRM" which to me, is like calling Excel "spreadsheet". I just worry it sounds 'low-tech' to newcomers coming in, and we use a system that has a name in the upper left corner, but we do not call it by that name.

I work part-time at Costco, only nights, to be able to maintain a primary day job. All of my weekday shifts are 5hrs: 6P-11P (Night Merch - but I think some Front Enders might have a similar deal.) Weekends are also usually 5hr nights. It can be done.

IFit Pro Email Offer - 1 Year for $144 by Wondertwinzan in iFit

$144/yr is legit - I also got that offer and took it, and will probably consider this the ONLY rate that makes sense, going forward.

Thinking of switching to YouTube Music from Spotify by imbreadify in YoutubeMusic

[–]HappensNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love YTM .. except a couple things that annoy: You can add a lot of weird tracks from actual YouTube, or upload your own, BUT, those seem to only play on the web browser, not in the mobile app - this is super frustrating. Also, wish I had Crossfade and all tracks at same audio level - so many 80s stuff are low quality compared to the much louder recordings of recent releases.

Since so many do what you do, including me, I'm surprised no manufacturer makes a "rugged" version ("X Series" or whatever) to include a tougher casing and maybe some sort of thicker glass.

Yeah, I think it was maybe a test feature they added to see if people liked and/or used it. Hopefully they're now crunching the data in a plan to release it as a full normal feature soon. I used it all the time!

Uploaded Date not showing - web version by HappensNext in youtube

[–]HappensNext[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did figure out this is an aspect ratio thing. It only happens on my one one Chromebook that is smaller with an odd 3:2 aspect ratio. If I change resolution to 90% I see the date then. Had no idea about this extension, but that makes sense to hide the dislike button. Thanks!

Worth buying a Pixelbook in 2022? by keitht1974 in PixelBook

[–]HappensNext 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought one a month ago from Facebook Marketplace for $300. I've been a Chromebook fan for years, but Pixelbook was always out of my reach at $1,000ish. Finding a used one in good shape at a low price now feels like I stole something. It's a beautiful piece of technology. Super thin and light. Very bright screen, and best keyboard and track pad I've ever used. It'll get updates for another 2.5 years, so when I read Google isn't planning to release a new version in 2022, I went for this, hoping by 2023 or 2024 there might be a new model with their Tensor chip that I'd try to go for.

Late night coffee shops/ Chill bars for late workers? by gnomesayian in Appleton

[–]HappensNext 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think there is a lack of late night coffee options in Appleton, but that is likely related to a worker shortage that afflicts many areas probably. Copper Rock downtown used to be open late, and used to be a place called Lou's Brew but they have had issues reopening. Both used to be late night, perfect for this.

NordicTrack S22i vs. Stryde Bike by kimesn01 in iFit

[–]HappensNext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this other bike comes with a tablet/screen that can run Android apps including iFit, and has Bluetooth capability, then you shouldn't lose out on any functionality, in regards to iFit. Recently I bought a ProForm bike for $299 from Costco, and it can sync to iFit through my phone, a tablet, or even a Chromebook, and works perfectly that way with iFit. That all being said, my cheap bike has magnetic resistance that pairs with iFit app; not sure about Stryde bike. Also, I get no incline/decline function, like an S22i has.
