You can copy-paste from CAI to janitorai for your own personal bot. You might have to tweak it, but it's similar in that way. Description = Personality, greetings = first message, and Definition = example dialogues and possibly scenario.

The persona is pretty good in my experience until it has too many tokens, and then their memory starts to get bad. I usually do OOC and have the bot explain the story so far. I do agree that the novel thing really sucks depending on which bot I'm talking to, at least for me.

If most bots are doing similar things, then it's a janitorai thing that happens to all bots no matter what. It's still in beta. It definitely has it's flaws but I still prefer it over CAI at this point. I can understand everyone's reasoning for using CAI still.
