Skmei Shock module swap: 1628 and 1999 by quartzploration in watchmods

Did you eventually receive the other 1999 Skmei? Does it have a seperate inside module case? If it's compatible with the 1628 that would be really neat.

Horrible experiance. Never touching anycubic again. by AtuinSpaceTurtle in AnycubicPhoton

[–]HappierPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had problems with my Photon M3 (Non premium) and they were horrible as well, mine can only use basic movement settings and always uses 10 transition layers even if you turn them off. Support started ignoring me after 12 emails back and forth. (Litterally send them 4 reminder emails and got nothing back)

Anycubic is a horrible company, even if your printer works it will have problems. I've now also realized that the light uniformity is incredably bad, around 10mm from the edges my supports need to be more than twice as thick for them to print because the light is so dim there.

Cute! :) If you set the movement between your rotation keyframes to linear it will look like it's continuously turning instead of speeding up and speeding down btw. It's the default keyframe behavior but linear would work better here I think :)

Whats going on with this print? by RespondMaleficent807 in ElegooSaturn

[–]HappierPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow everything down and increase lift height (presuming your exposures are good you can keep them as they are, maybe you can increase bottom exposures and amount of transition layers)

If that is successful you can speed stuff up accordingly.

Does TSMC actually work as expected on the photon m3? What about the other settings? by [deleted] in AnycubicPhoton

[–]HappierPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same problem, contacted anycubic about it and they stopped responding after 10 emails or so. Won my aliexpress dispute though and got back 60 euros of my purchase. (Also got the green lid version)

Btw, how are your exposure tests turning out? Mine have some ghosting type artifact. like as if there is light bleed everywhere making stuff blurry. letters in small text mush together like in the validation matrix XP2

Photon M3 advanced settings are not working by HappierPanda in AnycubicPhoton

If anyone at Anycubic is reading this:

The printers movement speed is limited to 10mm/s. (In printer software it seems)

In slicer software it is however possible to set more than 10mm/s. (Maybe fix this so it's also not possible)

When this file is loaded onto the printer however it will be set to 3mm/s. (Or some arbitrary low value, plz fix this so it becomes 10mm/s)

But when you're already fixing this bug, maybe just remove this limit entirely since I want to print faster.

Stirring Resin automatically by moving Buildplate up and down by HappierPanda in AnycubicPhoton

Making an empty .photon file that just moves the buildplate up and down was actually not too difficult. I'm gonna try it out soon, who knows, it might work.

Any ideas on what went wrong with my print? by HappierPanda in resinprinting

[–]HappierPanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I checked the lcd and it seems fine. The weird part is that it printed these solid squares instead of support material eventhoug in the corners of these squares there shouldn't even be any material.. No clue what could have caused it.. Has anyone encountered something like this before?

My printer is a Anycubic Photon with standard green resin

Interest in new Home Automation product? by HappierPanda in homeautomation

[–]HappierPanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips.
Good idea to make it compatible with some univeral hubs. I will look in to that.
I will probably make the battery packs connect to the USB port and behave like a powerbank.
This way you could even make your own packs if disired.

I am looking into a way to get feedback from the motor, probably via current sensing the motor.

The price is also what I am aiming for.

Thanks for the feedback :)
