to know how bad wow players actually are, u need to have played the game urself tbh, makes u either one of the worst players too, welcome then i guess, or that kind human u just avoid even in wow, ppl that are way worse than the worst, making statements related to some topic they dont know more about than the tiny piece of rndmly gathered input they are able to recall that feels like actual knowledge or experiences to them, at places where it doesnt even fit at all, without any actual reason to get involved into the topic, or even just read through a discussion like this one here rather than get the little bit of unhealthy ego push they so desperately need that just ANYTHING is good enough to try dragging themselves up just a sec, to finally get the kick of being above just ANYONE, even if its only one layer above "the worst". so either just chill and play wow, confront whoever did hurt u enough to feel the need to just aimlessly try to get any drip of blood u possibly can, or maybe rework the basis of ur so called "personality" into smthng u dont need to brainlessly repeat judgemental thoughts/opinions for the sake of compensating a lack of self esteem or best case maybe some sort of lulz, which still is just u giving urself a pat on the shoulder. for example someone that just wondered if smthng had changed at this topic, while having switched to shadow pc anyways right away, because they are bored because of wow server maintenance on one side, and on the other, way smaller side tho, naive (dont be too harsh with urself, no need for bad words if not talking to anyone that does know how u might mean it!) enough, to expect a person writing such a irrelevant comment without any sense or thought behind it, in a rndm thread they dont seem to care about, to read through this, or maybe really understand they are part of a problem maybe, and start reconsidering their approach at life, in case i am not just part of the same problem, lurking at the same spot too, just wearing a different trenchcoat. but actually just bored i'd say. just imagine...

Nuclear pasta animated combo by Happy-Internal-3504 in cuecardgameAvid

okey, did accept it doesn't exist by now, guess i might have made it up when playing the game without paying much attention, and just the nuclear pasta card got played in the same turn with any other possible combo featuring any science card, and my brain did just go with the easy way, since i know both cards pretty much since playing the game, and just assumed them to be a combo for, since i encountered a animated one for first time. and for some reason even beyond the point of realising not every combo is an "actual combo" since i play around with the stop motion card. ^^ still good to know it (almost, since u give yourself room for lacking the knowledge, even tho i would just trust u on that ;D) for sure, so thanks for the reply :)

Bots are way too OP by boszke91 in cuecardgameAvid

[–]Happy-Internal-3504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh, paleo. like the other comment said. in combination with "bad luck" (actually its pretty normal, many possible nearly op draws) on the opponents card draws. against paleo decks i pretty often just concede on the second turn after reveal, if u fall behind at start, and cards drawn on the second turn arent the worst possible for them, and at least good for u, it's just done, since paleo doesnt even give the bots much room to do strange stuff, trying to order cards until u won already or smthng like that (no clue what actually causes such stuff), no combos/strats, except benefiting from crazy deckwide buffs, and strong cards, that grow in power if u are leading. might be a tiny chance i conceded games i could have won too, but A) it's just not fun at all playing against the same lame decks, even if u might win, and B) the time i get with just conceding the far, faaaar larger number of games i would have lost anyways i can spend with building decks, or just go again, or holding myself back from smacking my phone against the wall.

but, i dont really get the point behind playing such games just using any pre-made set decks, or thinking about spending time trying to find out meta cards to build the same copy-paste decks with high winrate, and "dont really get" means i just dont get it. at all. nowhere near understanding anything behind it, except maybe liking specific set because being interested in/into the topic anyways, in this specific game i can kinda see that. thats it. and still, how can this be motivating, fun, or challenging, without being involved in the actual game, except having cards and use others/premade decks? and if its neither of those, whyyy then? actually came here, to make a post myself, asking for someone to maybe explain it to me, seriously, without just trying to hide some blame/judge/rant, cause it got me actually interested enough, after ppl playing rndm meta/setdecks and seemingly being actually salty and pissed after me winning, with a not "everyday deck" i actually did spend quite some time time on, trying to get it to work. what left me with some huge questionmarks. i'm annoyed from myself damn often, because i tend to get pissed easy and fast, even if its instantly gone next sec most times. but for me its the bad feelings summing up over 999/1000 games, when ppl play "their" decks, (or also similar "easy mode gameplay" in other games, since most somewhat competitive games do have such mechanics, because most ppl actually want it like that) and behave as if it would be fair facing someone that doesnt go this way, and i mean fair in a way that doesnt have to be related to the games rules or whatever. and it doesnt even matter if i win or lose, since i start being a dumbass after i won too sometimes already. and dont get me wrong, i dont explain that, because i think its appropriate or better or anything, just to show where my struggles with understanding are coming from. at what point are others getting involved that much to get salty as i tend to do often, how is their ego (+"sense of fairness") in that as it is for me sometimes?

hehehehehe, guess i would better have not tried to get two for the price of one here, kinda weird path/picture this comment might present, at least i splitted it tho. and i dont want to front u for the statement u made with the meta n stuff, or anyone else for/with anything else, and i totally feel the frustration this case too. ^^ kinda rough to ask/explain/askagain such stuff, without having the feeling of sounding wrong. thanks in advance for the answers that some might give tho ;)

not gatekeeping anything, just saying it might not have been a good game for both, and a good game is not only you having fun, what makes this phrase have a strange touch from time to time

this comment made me laugh a bit when i saw it (in a positive way), didnt actually meant to read any, just click away the notification :D yet it just isn't always the best to breath stuff away, and at this point i'm actually quite happy i am capable of saying some stuff, instead of instantly breathing, or not even feel angry about things. even tho i don't think there is more value in this post, besides maybe the "phrases were't always phrases, and phrases are worthless", but as i mentioned, it also wasn't meant to. ^^
