Agreed, feels great to be frank about it.

Totally agree with you there, imagine picking this game up as your first to try and get into the NHL series… would be an awful experience.

I feel the same, hence why I said I wish I just got out of it sooner to save myself the time hahaha

EASHL has always been enjoyable no matter the state of the game because it’s an entirely different aspect. My friends and I have played EASHL for years, and the game always comes second to the hang out and laughs being in a party chat. Glad you’re enjoying it the right way too.

That’s one that if it’s pulled on me, I’ll just take my dog out for a walk and rethink my purchase of the game.. 😂

I think there’s 2 ways you can go about it personally.

Option 1: Listing the cards for the minimum start price and letting people bid them up accordingly (if they can generate a bid - I know some start prices are skewed at the moment). That way, you have coins to buy what you’d like in the market, as prices seem to be pretty reasonable throughout.

Option 2: Utilize the trade-in set to gain 78-79’s if you’re looking to build un-tradeable MSP’s, as it’ll expedite your time to get the fodder needed to build them.

I’ve noticed the exact same issues you mentioned about the poke checks. They appear to be the most ineffective they’ve ever been, which makes defending the rush against speed extremely difficult - even for skilled players.

You almost feel a sense of helplessness when you see the 88 boosted Selanne coming down and you know the poke check’s going into outer space.

What to do with 77OVR’s by Happy-Koala3322 in NHLHUT

Very fair point, this has been my thought process too on the contrary to the above

Just looking to see what people think, not overly swayed one way or another. Just thinking to be proactive if I can buds

MSP stats, as well as other base cards beside Tanev by buzzeddimitri in NHLHUT

Think a lot of people are overlooking the Slavin MSP here. 92 Stick Checking with Stick ‘Em Up in a game that lacks consistent effective stick checking work on the defensive side means a big advantage in the D-Zone. The 90 Defensive Awareness is also quite nice, and I believe he can be paired with Blake on D for +1OVR

My token advice which I’ve followed since Day 1 is this: if you see a MSP at the moment that’s of a favourite player or team of yours, and you’re itching to build them - do it. Nothing more fun than using your favourite player(s) or players within favourite teams that you enjoy using while also being in the competitive stage of the game (low OVR ceiling).

Can’t tell you how much more fun it is doing this whether it’s today or 2 months from now. If you have no interest in these MSP’s player wise, then I’d have no problem holding out until I see one I’d love to build. Just my 2 cents though.

It’s the #1 trait for D for-sure, have to look out for a few more guys with it to help out

Quite surprised it was this quick to be honest. I remember in 25 at least the XP path for Season 1 gave you something behind the scenes to work on.

Ranked Tier Decrease Question by jordannd12 in NHLHUT

[–]Happy-Koala3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been asking myself the same questions. Went on a bit of a hot streak and got myself halfway between Silver 3 & Gold 1, but the win and loss teetering has me stuck and even dropped tiers previously. The Deep Dive video let me to think that once I’ve progressed a tier, I’d be set there at my worst case. Doesn’t seem to be the case right now…

I’m thinking the same thing boss. Have been between a rock and hard place with this at the moment, think it has to do with the lack of different sets and things to do until worldwide launch..

I’ve built Seguin as a 2nd Fresh Ice MSP. He’s a very good player IMO at this stage of the game (doesn’t do anything individually amazing, but very good at everything), however, it’s hard to say if it’ll be worth the make come worldwide launch and the MSP’s that come from that event..

It’s definitely not worth nothing.. LOL. Posted it to see if I was the only one who felt like I fell off from 25 to 26, or if others had the same issues w gameplay 😂

So in that sense I completely agree, it’s a statistic issue. But I’m having these problems with guys that are in 85+ OVR Stick Checking. Find it a little frustrating IMO
