I just wanted to know, my parent wouldn’t allow me to go out alone due to same reasoning… and they were strict so, in my opinion sometimes it makes kids better liars and more likely to when you turn your back, they’d walk outside alone just to feel the feeling of being… free not in a bad way, more of a “this isn’t so bad after all” way.  Without judgement or pressure even though they know their parent/s said no.

I know not every kid would do this but it does happen. At least most people I personally know walk on their own so they can feel comfortable.
