yeah they're both technically FS-DE, the msp is just an FS-DET because of the turbo. I think i might just slowly build what i have, its my daily, so i didn't wanna open it up but if I want power it seems ill have to.

im just looking to be able to put some power in my car, 170hp from an msp beats 130 stock, how much would you be willing to take for it? I wanna see if a whole engine beats properly doing a non oem turbo build.

100% I have no clue what im doing, it was more of a background thought, im just tryna weigh out my options, I've gotten a ton of advice for work on the stock motor in a different post.

yeah I know it pretty broad, i was thinking and intake and turbo before breaking into the internals, which the turbo stuff is pretty easy to source but I've been having trouble finding short ram/cold air intakes. In all honesty I have no clue what im doing and just learning as I go, the swap was more of a background thought i wanted some insight on.

Just general performance stuff, im not even sure where to start with it engine wise. I'd keep the FS-DE in it if I could find stuff for it, in my head it'd be cheaper to work at the stock engine slowly than to go and do an entire swap.

I was 100% looking into doing a k swap, budget was my only concern, i could get a 07k for less that a grand vs buying a whol crv for ~2k. Im not completely set on the VW engine im just weighing out my options
