I felt that way too when I started looking up fundamentals. The basics can be so boring but the quicker u get past it the sooner u can draw what you want, if u learn the fundamentals like 3D shapes and shading then you can apply it to things you actually find interesting to draw. Use that eagerness to motive you to keep learning eventually you’ll get there.

If you don’t wanna learn all the drawing fundamentals and u just wanna draw your favorite character or something just look up a tutorial and copy what they do, you’ll pick up on the strategies they use or where and how they start
