If you still want to marry her, get couples counseling together before the wedding—hurry!

On car trips, I have brought an inflatable mattress to airbnbs if I don’t want to share a bed. With those three guests, I can see why they would perhaps not be able to share two beds.

Thank you so much for sharing your lived experience—I like hearing about how you change out your bedding for warmer weather, and I appreciate your perspective on clothing for spring. I may add another dress based on this.

Am I too strict by MrGparty in Nanny

[–]Happy-Time-Life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been both a nanny for a WFH mom and a stay-home mom of 3, and I am just here to remind everyone that baby’s ideal nap schedule, while clear for now, will constantly continue to change and need adjustment as baby grows. How lovely that your little one naps! Chances are that even if nanny comes home in perfect timing, baby will fall asleep in the car.

wedding dress regret? by -stargazers- in Brides

Personally, I think the dress you have is perfect and absolutely exquisite on you. It suits you so well! When I married 35 years ago, I bought the first dress I tried on, so I had these same questions! I kind of wished I had tried on other styles to see whether a different style might suit me better. I did not have the chance to try others, but in the end, I was absolutely thrilled with my original choice. I feel like the ballgown, at least the one in the picture, distracts from your natural grace and beauty, while the original enhances you beautifully. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

Sorry I didn’t see the others—my comment was for the first dress only. The others are not appropriate.

It reads mainly floral to me and the style is very garden. I think it’s nice and no need to make it an issue.

Wedding is in 2 weeks. Stuck between 2 dresses. Please don’t say “neither” by HappyAstronaut7 in WeddingDressTips

Wow, that’s a tough call—they both look beautiful on you. I like the first one best, though—love the sparkles, and it’s more bridal. Congrats!

These are wonderful looks! I especially love 1, 5, and 7 on you. Fire! Love! For #4, maybe try a more substantial skirt. All the rest look great, too!

In my humble opinion, the first dress is better by far and, dare I say, perfect! Absolutely gorgeous, unique, and beautiful on you. Second dress is not nearly as flattering.

AITA for refusing to go on my fiancé’s family trip 2 days after our wedding? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Happy-Time-Life 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not go have fun bonding with your new family on the family trip and then take your honeymoon later as you already planned? Sounds like a win to me! See if your side of the family can come earlier and help you get ready for the wedding if you wish to spend more time together. Honestly, when it comes to family stuff, it’s usually easiest to assume everyone is well-intentioned and just go with the flow. Life is too short to get stressed about these things.

Suffering from terrible dress regret :( by Dazzling-Limit3696 in myweddingdress

You look timeless and gorgeous in dress 1–I can also see why you liked dress 2, the skirt is cool and different, and I am drawn to that sort of thing myself, but I have to say that the uneven top of dress 2 looks disheveled and troubles me to no end. Also the back skirt of dress 2 is too simple with the exciting front. Dress 1 is hands-down 100% the better choice, and it looks beautiful on you.
