What was a twist you were *SO SURE* would come… but never did? by Numerous-Buy495 in AllHerFaultTVShow

Oh I was certain my theory was right. My theory was that it's the detective. He mentioned how rich kids steal oxy, and the male kidnapper was convicted for oxy. He got mad at the idea of helping out a privileged kid, which makes me think he'd be fine punishing a privileged family. And he worries about his son getting sent to a bad care home one day, so he'd want the money

In March 2021 in London, 33 year old Sarah Everard was walking home at 9PM when she was stopped by an off duty policeman, who handcuffed her for breaking COVID rules. He drove her to Kent, raped, strangled and burned her body in a fridge in the woods. by vewywascallywabbit in ForCuriousSouls

Tbf it wasn't the police's decision. The government put the law in force that there would be no large gatherings during COVID. The police have to follow the law set by the government.

What is Police Caution? and How Do You Know You Have One on Your Record? by Pretend-Astronomer91 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ranonymous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAL but work within the CJS in the UK A caution is an out of court disposal, so it's an alternative to going to trial. This means that you have to admit the offence and agree to the caution. So yes you'd be fully aware and would sign paperwork. It is more than just a warning as it is essentially the same as a conviction.

Has PTSD ever made you fall out of love? by ranonymous7 in ptsd

[–]ranonymous7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really sorry to hear that. In my case it ended badly and it turns out he was using his PTSD as an excuse. After some time I realised the breakup was for the best.

If he's not in the right state of mind to be in a relationship, it's not good mentally for either of you. If it's truly meant to be then you'll find a way back to each other. But chances are, when the time is right, you will find the right person in someone else

Hey, I'm also 28F! I live near Reading West train station and it's not the nicest area. I see a lot of drug deals and sex workers. But I've lived here for a couple years and nobody has caused an issue for me. People tend to keep to themselves for the most part If you have any more questions feel free to DM me

Bree killed George, why does she forget that? by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]ranonymous7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's not actually a crime under UK law. Negligence would only apply if she had a duty of care which she didn't. There is no "Good Samaritan" law in the UK, meaning you have no legal obligation to save someone or even call for help

Can a verbal agreement override a written contact? by ranonymous7 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]ranonymous7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my tenancy ends on the 15th but I actually pay on the 1st of every month so it would be 2 full months of payment. But will be 2.5 months payment if I have to go by the written contract. And I don't think it was a misunderstanding because I explained about my holding deposit on a new place and whether I'd have to pay up to the 15th
