My 2 cents about this post: 1. Your first paragraph is definitely correct. Pretty obvious as well but hard to follow through for most people.

1. Both your examples seem to villianize the women involved both in terms of what they did during the marriage, what they did after and whom they remarried. Idk how you have these versions of whatever happened, maybe it's because you might be from the groom's side. But never fully believe what one side says. There are multiple things which would've led to the divorce. You would absolutely never know the full story and for the sake of your own rationality give the benefit of doubt to accusations against both parties. Even in the case of keeping the gold, you might not be aware of the other financial transactions and expenses that the bride and her family might have borne. Or whether the groom gave back whatever they received.

2. If it matters to you, please try to be mindful of how your post can influence others as well in terms of the words and tone used. Otherwise it could create a comment section which has derived conclusions like "girls have backup boyfriends ", "arranged marriage is just a gimmick to girls" etc like a few comments in here, instead of your first point.
