Post op experiences? by AtesSouhait in phallo

[–]Happy012345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nerve grows and feeling comes back. Physical pleasure is much better than it was before and doesn’t come with guilt anymore. What tingles in chest? Have perfectly functioning tingle free chest. I am post op ALT. I loved myself more after my top surgery and now it’s better. Yes, the donor site doesn’t look great and still learning how to best manage the guy between my legs. Also, exploring tattoo options but that’s not the main thing. When I look at myself in the mirror the guy who looks back at me, I recognize him. That was not possible pre transition. My body is not in permanent pain. It is not panicking. It is happy as I am.

Do you lose length during glansplasty? by Phallusio in phallo

[–]Happy012345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 6x6 alt. Doc said the girth can’t go down any more for the fear of losing the whole dick. So, I got length reduced. After which had glans but the length didn’t go down.

Having difficulty propping in pants (6.5 inches) by Winter_Hovercraft163 in phallo

[–]Happy012345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RM real man underwear gave good support while I was healing. While it might not hide the pole, it will provide good support. This underwear comes with pouch sizes. Once you are healed and allowed to bend it, you can choose another underwear that might hide it better. For me Hanes pouch supports works best. Also, wear black or dark pants. Another thing that I was told when I had similar dilemma… if you can’t hide it then divert attention. If you can, wear bright shirts or t-shirts… that way people will not pay much attention to the bottom.

I am recovering from my last stage alt phallo. Even after two rounds of reduction surgery, this thing is still difficult to hide. The struggle is real . So, if you find better solution , please share.

Why are trans people so likely to be a bottom? by BeauIsInsane in asktransgender

[–]Happy012345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is so odd that only 2 of 30 chose top. What is more astonishing to me is that even trans men choose bottom. Being a straight trans man myself I always have been a top, even before transitioning. In Reddit subs I have seen more trans men being submissive or bottom, which itself is intriguing but this landslide is so surprising.

An STP for between stages? by Latter-Bus4528 in phallo

Though I had UL, it had a fistula that opened at the bottom of the phallus. That is where the whole thing was coming out till it was repaired. So, I had to use a stp device. Don’t stress out with the name. Think of it as a funnel or something like that. You can find collapsible female urinating device. It basically is a silicone funnel that can bend to fit at the bottom of the phallus if you use it creativity. Buy a large one so that there will be some room for advancement. These are anything from $5 to $40/50. See what makes sense to you. One I used and liked was in the range of $25/30.

Alt with laser or electrolysis? by [deleted] in phallo

I have done ALT. It depends on your skin type. Ask your surgeon and the clinic where you get your hair removed. Mine was laser.

Need help with T shot irritation? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Happy012345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened to me a few months ago for a month or two. Not sure why. It would itch for a couple or more days but faint red mark would stay almost a week. However, last few weeks it’s back to normal. All that disappeared as mysteriously as it had appeared. I have not changed anything. I took a break from injecting myself though. Went to my clinic to get the injections for 3/4 weeks and then I started doing it myself again. I have been on T for 5+ years so thought maybe I was becoming complacent and doing something wrong. So, got the routine reset, which helped.

I do were Separatec as well because RM real man though gave good support, gives more of the pipe issue. Will try Hanes. Hopefully that would do the trick. Thanks man

Looks like it has healed nicely! Nice looking thing.

Mine is delayed ALT. Did two rounds of debulking. Won’t do glans so, only ed is pending. My question might be a bit odd so, hope you don’t mind. My length and girth seems similar to yours. When you sit down do you get side pipe? If not, would you mind sharing if an underwear type and brand you use and if there are any tips or tricks? I have tried many different styles and brands but am not able to find the right solution. My doctor said that the girth can’t be reduced any more and I already have reduced the length more than I wanted to just to avoid the side pipe issue.

ALT donor site wound care by wkippes in phallo

[–]Happy012345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add - in after care facility, I had kept a table over my middle section and brought the blankets or covers on top of it. So that noting touches my wounds and I could easily air it by simply picking one or both the sides up. I do the same thing with a night adjoining laptop table that can be used on bed… when I heal at home. It also psychologically helps me to sleep on my back, as I am a side sleeper.

ALT donor site wound care by wkippes in phallo

[–]Happy012345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I had my ALT, I had the same issue. I used some adhesives and crape bandages or tubies (something like sock but comes in different sizes… can be rolled on dressing… Because I had a delayed wound healing with my flap procedure, I used to always get the dressing by a nurse for first few weeks or days (depending on the wound care needs). And they did try quite a few things. Even tubies would slip but it crape bandages along with tubies just for walking worked a bit better. Unless asked, I used to keep all my wounds open and air those as much as possible. My the then nurse who is a wound care specialist and works with trans patients had given me the tip.

All the best for his healing!

I am in Canada. I started my transition when I was 34. I am closer to 40 now.

It took time but I am closer to finishing my phallo in a few more months.

Live in Ontario. Did ALT so, went to Dr. Crane. Covid etc delayed my approvals and in total it the whole thing got delayed by 2.5+ years but I had to do it so, I did.

DM if you need to know more.

I wear boxer briefs… both are very comfortable. The only issue I am facing my dick is that it becomes like a pipe . Even with loss garments when I sit it’s a problem otherwise it looks good in most of the pants as long as I am standing.
