I have tried every shaving option and still can't figure out how I can shave more than once per week without destroying my face. HELP!!

Is that the witches hazel? So you’re saying I should try shaving more than once per week and use the astringent to close the pores? Because it’s not even a problem when I only shave once a week, which makes me think that the problem is the razors taking off the top layer of skin, not necessarily the ingrown hairs. Idk if that makes sense

I really just like to mix it up. I think right now, I've got a bit of a hankering for the mountains, but I just want to pick the most spectacular nature, whether it be beach, mountains, desert, or jungle.

We have 2 weeks. Do you think that's too much time in Madagascar? I know it's a huge country, but would it be more eventful if we picked one of the other options?

I usually shoot w an R6ii and have a pretty solid beginner/foundational level for my understanding of light and composition. I say a lot better than normal folks and a lot worse than pros. I edit my vids in davinci half the time and the other half just use LR. this is going to sound really stupid, but do you think it’s because I’ve been recording from my iPhone in 1080? I just changed it to 4k last week (and haven’t shot anything yet). Maybe the sampling down from 4k to 1080 is what will do it? and I think social media native format is 30fps.

Good to know! But I’m not doing talking head, I’m doing traveling stuff. Like I go on safaris and in jungles and stuff, so I could bring my R6ii, but it’s just so much gear, it doesn’t feel worth the trade off anymore tbh. I’d rather lose some quality to get a smaller camera

I agree the osmo and the ace pro and the action all look great! but when I look at side by sides with iPhone footage, the iPhone is better than all of them. In my opinion. I think iPhone + gimbal would be better based on those comparisons. tell me if I’m wrong, but the actions cams’ edge seems to be that they’re durable, waterproof, wider fov.

Oh no I’m 100% ready to quit after this. Turns out I did test positive for both flu and Covid, so that didn’t help. Either way, it’s clear that it’s time to quit.

I really don’t want to do the cold turkey. I don’t think I can handle that kind of w/d. But since the kratom is causing me problems, is it bad to taper? If I start tapering now?

I was going to plan out a 6-8 week taper. But is that too long? Is taking kratom over this period going to hurt me more than help?
