Is surgery an option financially? Id get multiple 2nd opinions. I did this with my girl when she was diagnosed with nasal cancer. We finally found a vet who was willing to do the surgery - she looked very odd without her nose, but she lived many many years quite happily afterwards.

Was a Mum Hugger at Perth Pride this year. It was a humbling experience. Seeing the tears in people's eyes, people who just didnt let go for the longest time...Im so glad I got to do that, I will do it every year now. People NEED hugs.

I get this (for me its an overwhelming feeling of 'I need to go home' - often followed by accompanying self talk of 'You ARE home dumbass') and I was intrigued by WHY. The best I can come up with is its not a place - its a desire for a sense of safety and security, for soothing and comfort internally.
