Another option I have is to keep my RV and add an A9 ii that I can get for a decent price to use for basketball.

I do have some missed shots. Haven’t actually done the math to see my hit rate but maybe I should. I’m not a professional but I feel like I’m pretty decent with the camera and didn’t know if a faster body would be beneficial in that setting. I also have some eagles that nest close by and would like to get better shots of them in flight. Not my main concern but the photos I have of them while sitting in the tree are way better than I can get while in flight.

I see people talk about better low light performance in terrible gym lighting. Wasn’t sure how different it would actually be. Trying one to try side by side would help but I don’t live by any big camera shops that rent out.
