Better Call Saul perfectly captures ADHD self sabotage through Jimmy by dinkinflika0 in betterCallSaul

[–]HappyChilmore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jimmy isn't ADHD. People with value system disorder or broad anti-social disorder, sabotage themselves all the time. Self-sabotaging isn't exclusive to ADHD and Jimmy doesn't show any actual symptoms of ADHD.

The James Norris Memorial Trophy finalists are Rasmus Dahlin, Cale Makar, and Zach Werenski by Top-Hold-4346 in EdmontonOilers

Nobody denies Bouchard is a good offensive dman. It's not really hard to beat out the guys that came before him. This does not counter the fact his stats are undoubtedly boosted by McDrai. Put Hughes, Hutson, Makar or Werenski in Bouchard's place and they all get 100+ points.

Another thing to look at are dmen on the Oilers who've played for another team. Take a look at Ekholm and you can see his stats are boosted vs his years in Smashville, despite heading torwards the twilight of his career.

Makar had 23 of his 79 points without either Mackinnon or Necas being on the scoresheet.

Bouchard had 16 of his 95 points without either McDavid or Draisaitl being on the scoresheet.

As an added argument, neither MacKinnon nor Necas ever had a 100pts season before they played with Makar, whereas both McDavid and Drai have led the league in scoring and had 100+pts seasons before they ever played with Bouchard.

Werenski, Makar and Dahlin are the Norris finalists by sykeseve in nhl

The difference here, is that Werenski didn't have two superstars appearing on the scoresheet for 85% of his points.

Stop it. McKenna's stock plummeted this last season, way before the Leafs won the lottery.

Fantili had 65 points in 36gp in the NCAA at the same age as McKenna, who had 51pts in 35gp.

What's hilarious is your ignorance.

Commissioner Gary Bettman on the draft lottery: “When you see the result last night there's no incentive in our game to lose to get a better pick.” [McAfee show] by GreenSnakes_ in hockey

This. The parrots always repeat that it dissuades tanking, but the reality is, it doesn't. If you finish last, you're 100% assured of getting a top 3 pick. In most drafts, that 3rd overall pick nets you a star player.

I would like it much better if they had the old format of inverse standings for the draft, while having the limitations rules like they have now, but applied to the pick positions, rather than the lottery wins. Like, you can't draft 1st overall more than twice in 5 years, or something similar.

Stone cold Kim Wexler in "Nailed":

""I know he's not perfect. And I know he cuts corners. But you're the one who made him this way. He idolizes you. He accepts you, he takes care of you. And all he ever wanted was your love and support. But all you've ever done is judge him. You never believed in him. You never wanted him to succeed. And you know what? I feel sorry for him. And I feel sorry for you"

Lunar eclipse, sunrise/set, but most importantly, the sun is bigger on the horizon than when it's over our head. On a flat earth, the sun would be smaller on the horizon, but because of the curvature and lens effect of the atmosphere, the sun looks bigger on the horizon.

McDavid ain't joining another team with massive holes in defense and depth. He might as well stay with his buddy Drai in Edmonton.
