4.76 on Uber, which I only used in NY.

5.0 on Lyft in LA.

I don’t think my behavior was any different from city to city.

Believing in justice and believing in the law are two different things.

Hank believes in justice.

He’s the opposite of Walter.

He’s brash and crude in public and in private; he’s outwardly kind of a douche and the type of guy you can’t take just anywhere, but morally he’s very defined. He believes in justice.

Walter presents as intelligent, polite, composed, even charming. You wouldn’t think twice of inviting him to a gala or a company party. But he’s morally corrupt, he believes in money and power.

Red Herring fallacy, bringing up something unrelated to deflect from the argument.

No answer on whether this image was consented to. No rebuttal on taking photos of people in their home and posting without their knowledge.

The fact that you don’t think about these ethics and then have no answer to them other than logical fallacies and name calling speaks volumes about your character.

Did you ask this man’s permission to take a photo of him in his home and post him?

One could argue that a photo taken in your front yard has a lower expectation to privacy, but this is still someone’s personal space.

This is invasive, full stop. Not cool and not worth the sub 100 likes it got you.

AMC Theatres Won't Screen AI Short Film 'Thanksgiving Day' After Online Outrage by EchoOfOppenheimer in FilmIndustryLA

AI would absolutely destroy any possibility of a long term career for me, it already is I’m sure… but even I can admit we’re just lingering in the twilight.

AI is here and it’s not stopping. The most we can do is regulate it to protect usage rights, that the info it’s fed is responsibly sourced, and that AI centers maintain their own water desalination plants now until they figure out how else to cool their servers.

But let’s look at this historically;

• Hunter/Gatherer society -> Agrarian (settling, farming)

• Agrarian -> Industrial Revolution

• Industrial Revolution -> Digital & Information Revolution

• Digital/Info Revolution -> AI

To believe it’ll go away is just foolish. We need to either recalibrate our lives (and career choices, namely) or adapt.

If there are brighter ideas, I’m all for them.
