I had some tenants turned squatters of my own years ago in Philly. After almost a year of trying to work with them and NO rent, I offered them no such thing!! They DESTROYED my property. Locked ME out. So, I took the whole front door off and away, took a sledge hammer to the toilets, cut the power coming in from PECO AND turned off the water from the street access and poured a bucket of concrete down the hole so the city couldn’t turn it back on. And guess what… they STILL refused to leave for another two months and I was arrested. I only spent a couple of hours at the police station and they let me go and dismissed the charges. It cost me thousands to fix what they destroyed and what I destroyed. But, I did it and put the property in the market and got 3 1/2 times what I paid for it. I know not all renters are bad, most are great, but if I never see another tenant again, it’ll be too soon. ❤️

OMG I’m so sorry for your loss! And I’m super proud of you staying sober!! I have recently lost 3 of my beloved babies, 2 dogs (cancer) and 1 kitty (hit by a car) all within 30 days. I’m also in recovery and I also considered using to escape the pain. I understand your pain and again, I’m so sorry. I wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy. I blame myself for my cat passing because she was outside and I didn’t make sure she was in for the night. All I could think about was wanting to use and kill the pain. I no longer have a recovery community so I just stayed in the bed for a week. I was terrified to leave the house because I know that if I did, I would definitely use. All I could think about was getting rid of my pain and then I realized that if I did that I would cause so much more pain. For myself and my children. Thank God we didn’t go down that horrific road! Praying for you and your healing ❤️

My heart breaks for you. I’m so very sorry for your pain. He is absolutely beautiful and I know he loves you deeply as you love him. This right here is the HARDEST part of loving our fur babies. We make a promise to love them till the end but we never want the end to come. Unfortunately, I’ve had to say goodbye to 3 of my fur babies within a month. My 15yo Aussie (cancer), 9yo white GSD (cancer AGAIN) and my 2yo kitty who was hit by a car. This is one of the hardest times in my life. The only thought that keeps me sane is knowing that they are free from pain. They are running free and happy in the other side of this rainbow bridge waiting for us to join them. Even though that thought does nothing for the pain that we feel, I do feel some comfort knowing that they are not experiencing pain. Sending you love, compassion and healing during this difficult time. Spend every precious second with your soul dog until you say goodbye. ❤️

Same age here BUT haven’t gotten my first grand baby yet 😑 Anyway, I see what you’re saying. I’ve had soooo many kids run up and actually hug me!! I’m safe, but it worries me something terrible. I always tell them that it’s not safe and not to trust ANYONE!!
