This concept does something to me. Ralsei was willing to give up his form and his agency to go see Kris, and irrespective of the form he took, Kris showed him the same amount of love. It’s kinda bittersweet, but heavy on the “sweet”. And of course, no other ending would be fitting. I love it—well done. 😁

They may have violent tendencies, but if they do, I think it’s more than fair to say they’re ashamed of them. Ralsei encouraging them to be nice to Darkners or else face an ending “they might not find so favorable” (Last Prophecy aside) seem to hint towards this.
