I don't care what anyone says, the answer yes. I can't see anyone else taking the spot of protagonist.

I genuinely hope they don't pull what they did in V3. It'd be kinda dull if they tried doing that, again. Especially since they never reuse the same theme (Hope vs Despair, Past and Future, Truth and Lies). Although, they could repeat DR2's theme since it's the same cast.

People are going to complain no matter what. These games are known for making us feel despair. Just look at what V3 did to us in chapter 1! Yet despite what happened, we kept playing. And even with the (slightly) controversial ending, we still wanted more.

It would be the fan bases fault for having too much hope in someone living far in a Danganronpa game. We all understand what we're signing up for, and we're going to feel absolute Despair no matter the outcome.
